In this unit you will learn about: 
Organising and preparing work areas
Customer service and advising customers on espresso coffee
Providing advice to customers about coffee types and characteristics
Grinds of coffee
Extracting coffee
How to measure or dispense required dosage
Analyse extraction rate and adjust where appropriate
Assess quality of extraction visually and where appropriate by verifying flavour
How to texture milk and pour milk promptly
Serve and present espresso coffee and at the right temperature and crema
Clean and maintain espresso machine
OHS and enterprise requirements throughout all cleaning and maintenance procedures
Allied end of service activities
How to identify situations requiring the attendance of a trained service technician, licensed electrician or a designated senior person within the enterprise

Technical Assessment
What do we do in a technical assessment?
There are two options with the technical asssessment, our trained coffee coach can come to your workplace or it can be at one of our centre's.
The assessment works by getting the partipant to use a commerical machine to undertake the basic types of coffee drinks. Espresso, Ristretto, Cappucino and Cafe Latte. Then the coffee coach gives pointers and suggestions on how to get the best extraction, pour and texture, by working with the participant on grind, texturing of milk, technique as well as wastage and timing.
This can be done one on one or small groups.
Investment starts as little as $65 per hour plus gst.
On location (your store) is dependant on location of premise and time booked (minimum two hour duration - $65 per hour metro melbourne only)
